Anklet size chart
Fire Mountain Gems gives 9 in (22.9 cm) as the average ankle bracelet length and suggests an extender chain. We found no sourced sizing rule from a major jeweller.
Good to know
- Bracelet add-on rules differ by source. Pandora Moments (charm) bracelets: measure the wrist tightly where it is broadest and add 2 cm; Pandora Essence/Signature: add 1 cm. Brilliant Earth gives no add-on: measure snug (not tight) just below the wrist bone and read its chart, which maps wrist 6.1 to 6.5 in to a 6.5 in bracelet, i.e. bracelet = top of the wrist band; size up if between sizes. Tiffany maps the wrist measurement itself to a letter size (its own ruler).
- Pandora's 2 cm rule breaks at the top: a 20 cm tight wrist gets a 23 cm bracelet (there is no 22 cm size). Pandora says bracelets grow about 1 cm in the first year and the most popular size is 19 cm (Moments); 18 cm for Essence.
- Tiffany's published mm ranges overlap at the boundaries (146 and 159 mm appear in two sizes) and are kept as published. Tiffany's XX-Large and XXX-Large rows appeared only in a search summary, not in the PDF read, so they are left out. Tiffany's necklace page was blocked (403), so its lengths are left out.

Pandora: an 18 cm Moments bracelet (tight wrist plus 2 cm) or a 17 cm Essence. Brilliant Earth: 6.5 in. Tiffany: Large (159 to 171 mm).
What is the average bracelet size?
We have not found a sourced average wrist or bracelet size, so we do not give one.
Should a bracelet be tight?
Makers differ: Pandora measures the wrist tightly and adds 1 to 2 cm, Brilliant Earth measures snug and sizes up between sizes.
