Where sources disagree
- Champagne and Bordeaux use the same name for different sizes: in Champagne and Burgundy a Jeroboam is 3 L (4 bottles); in Bordeaux 3 L is a Double Magnum and a Jeroboam is 4.5 L (6 bottles). The 6 L bottle is a Methuselah (Mathusalem) in Champagne/Burgundy and an Imperial (Impériale) in Bordeaux. Source: Saverglass naming table; Wine Folly agrees.
- Smallest bottle: Wine Folly and Wikipedia give the piccolo/split as 187.5 ml (1/4 bottle); Saverglass and Laurent-Perrier give 200 ml (0.27 bottle).
- Solomon disagrees: Wine Folly gives 18 L 'Solomon (aka Melchior)'; Laurent-Perrier gives Solomon 18 L (24 bottles); Wikipedia lists Melchior 18 L (24) and Solomon 20 L (26) as separate sizes.
- Comité Champagne's own bottle-size page returned 404 and was not read. Laurent-Perrier (a Champagne house) is used for the Champagne list instead.
